The center of Nardò represents a true triumph of Baroque art, thanks to the refined Piazza Salandra and the numerous churches that testify to the undisputed religious and artistic value. Piazza Salandra houses the 15th-century spire of the Immaculate Conception, the Town Hall, the Seat.

There is also a castle built between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries and other monuments of absolute level including the Achille Vergari Municipal Library full of twenty-one thousand volumes of scientific, philosophical and theological nature.

The city guarantees a tourist attraction of exceptional interest also thanks to its splendid marinas, Santa Maria al Bagno, Santa Caterina, S. Isidoro and Porto Selvaggio.
